When she is not practicing law, Lesley: shares meals with her family, reads science fiction to relax [an easy way to release stress], is an avid skier [blue and green trails only, she skis for fun not adventure], takes hot yoga classes [if she leaves work early enough], takes her dog  Jeter to "the dog park"[he is a runner],socializes with friends, goes to the spa [the body mind connection needs rejuvenation] and participates with members of her sorority, Delta Sigma Theta in public service projects and works on philanthropic endeavors with other members of her chapter of The Links, Inc.

  • Ms. Caughman has had a varied legal practice.  In addition to practicing in all areas of family law at several firms,  Ms. Caughman has practiced Governmental Entity defense as an Assistant City Attorney and Deputy Attorney General, Insurance Defense as a staff counsel for two insurance companies, Criminal as an Assistant Prosecutor and Assistant Deputy Public Defender.  She also represented parents in child protective service cases for the Public Defender’s Office of Parental Representation.    


  • Ms. Caughman has practiced in the following counties:
